I'm submerged into this! It has become my life! I'm dedicating myself to a lifestyle of worship and intercessory prayer. In IHOP-Miami I have found that place, that ministry, where I can take refuge while growing, maturing and fulfilling that for which I was born to do - to know God, to worship and abide in Him (Jn.17:3, 4:22-25, 15:5-8).
I grew up in a Christian home, more so in a family of pastors, being a third generation minister myself. I first received God's calling when I was 17 years old. It was strong and intense and very real to me. Ever since, I have walked very near the Holy Spirit and His guidance has been sure and constant in my life. For the past 12 years that I've served alongside my parents, I've been a children's teacher, youth leader and it was also there where I took my first steps as a worship leader. I went on to study at Warner Southern University in Lake Wales, FL, graduating with BA in Worship Ministry.
Afterwards I returned to Miami, Florida and took on the challenge of pursuing one of my life-long dreams, to record a praise and worship album. With the help of friends and professionals like Fabio "Chelo" Caballero, and Livan Trujillo and the support of my church and family, we were able to finish it and present it to the Church of Jesus Christ in Miami on January, 2010. It's a valuable resource, spiritually as it is musically. It's titled Nuevo Cántico, "Alégrense" (New Song, "Rejoice"). Its message is that of hope and trust in the faithfulness of a God that can not fail. Oh, His promises!!. He can not lie! -Therefore, Rejoice!!
Ever since, I've been visiting many churches in Miami and other states, sharing my music and the timely word of God. I have also been fellowshipping and visiting the International House of Prayer, IHOP-Miami, often, being that I'm usually singing and ministering at a different church every Sunday. Though I have been aware of the IHOP ministry, especially the live web-stream from the IHOP Missions Base in Kansas City, Missouri, for many years now, I had not considered joining the IHOP staff myself. But recently the Holy Spirit and I partook in a little direction-tug-of-war. A few weeks later, He won! The Lord showed me that His interest in my life for this season goes far beyond my singing ministry and what I can "produce" with my gifting, my songs and whatever use I've been giving them. He helped me understand that He loves that I've been diligent with my gift but He's far more interested in my heart, all of my mind and soul in devotion to Him; to know Him more intimately than I have before. He has many singers that sing of Him but very few lovers that worship Him. Being that I have always felt called to a life of prayer and intercession and have become increasingly thirsty for a more in-depth study of The Word, in IHOP-Miami I have found a community that is passionately-committed to pursue the same thing.
It is now in August 2010, that I take this step to give myself to full-time worship and intercessory prayer at International House of Prayer in Doral, Miami, FL http://www.ihop-miami.org joining as full-time staff. This lifestyle of discipline and prayer, 24 hours a week of intercessory prayer, devotion and Bible study and another 24 hours serving in the many areas of church-life, it has all captivated me completely! There's nothing else I could be doing of greater value or purpose for my life right now than this: helping Him build His House of Prayer here in Miami. I know that it is God who has designed and reserved a portion for me in this ministry serving Him in His Kingdom.
I dream with this House. God wants to awaken, equip and send forth worshippers that would worship Him in Spirit and in truth in our city. I want to be an instrument in His hands towards this goal. I will serve Him with all my strength by training, teaching, and mentoring such worshippers. This ministry, IHOP-Miami, is taking its first steps here in Miami though it's been ongoing 24 hours/7 days a week for 10 years now in Kansas City, Missouri under the leadership of Mike Bickle. I will have the opportunity to be a forerunner in this ministry, specifically in the areas of musicianship and worship. The director of IHOP-Miami, David Futrell, can answer any questions or inquiries you may have concerning my involvement in the House of Prayer, IHOP-Miami.

Estoy de lleno en esto! Se ha convertido en mi vida! Me dedico a la adoración y la oración intercesora. En IHOP-Miami he encontrado ese lugar, ese ministerio donde puedo refugiarme creciendo y madurando en el conocimiento de Dios y Su Palabra al hacer aquello para lo cual nací - conocer a Dios, adorarle y permanecer en El (Jn.17:3, 4:22-25, 15:5-8).
Crecí en un hogar cristiano, más bien, de una familia pastoral siendo yo de la tercera generación de ministros. Recibí el llamado de Dios a los 17 años. Fue fuerte, intenso y muy real para mí. Desde entonces he caminado muy cerca del Espíritu Santo y su instrucción ha sido segura y constante en mi vida. El tiempo que estuve sirviendo al Señor junto a mis padres (y pastores), fui maestra de niños, líder de jóvenes y también comencé a dar mis primeros pasos como lider de alabanza. Mas adelante hice mi carrera universitaria en Warner Southern University, Lake Wales, FL. Obtuve un Bachillerato en Worship Ministry (Ministerio de Adoración), en mayo del 2006.
Al finalizar mis estudios, regresé a Miami y emprendí uno de mis mas grandes sueños- hacer una producción musical. Con la ayuda de amigos y profecionales, como Fabio "Chelo" Caballero y Livan Trujillo y con el apoyo de mi iglesia y familia, pudimos finalizar la producción y presentarle a la Iglesia de Cristo en Miami un recurso de gran valor y calidad tanto lo espiritual como en lo musical, en enero, 2010. La producción se titula "Nuevo Cántico, Alégrense". Su mensaje inspira esperanza y fé en la fidelidad de Dios y sus promesas en nuestras vidas. El no puede mentir, por lo tanto - ALégrense!
Desde entonces he visitado muchas iglesias en Miami, Florida y en otros estados de USA compartiendo mi música y la palabra de Dios. También he estado visitando y compartiendo con la Casa Internacional de Oración, IHOP-Miami, frecuentemente ya que casi siempre estoy ministrando en una iglesia diferente los domingos. Aunque conocía el ministerio IHOP, especialmente por la programación en vivo por internet de la base misionera de IHOP en Kansas City, Missouri, no había considerado formar parte del personal aquí en Miami. Pero tuve una guerra pequeña entre el Espíritu Santo y yo. Unas semanas mas tarde El ganó! El Señor me mostró que su interés en mi vida va mas allá de mi don del canto, mi ministerio y todo lo que yo pueda estar haciendo y "produciendo para El". El me ayudó a comprender que aunque le encanta que yo sea diligente con mis dones, El está mucho mas interesado en mi corazón, toda mi alma y mi mente en devoción a El; que lo conozca mas íntimamente como nunca antes. El tiene muchos cantantes que cantan acerca de El, pero pocos amantes que le adoren. Ya que siempre he sentido ese llamado a una vida de oración e intercesión y que de mí se ha apoderado una sed desesperante por profundizar en el estudio de La Palabra, en IHOP-Miami he encontrado una comunidad comprometida apasionadamente a la misma búsqueda.
Es ahora en agosto 2010 cuando doy éste paso de entregarme a tiempo completo a la adoración y oración intercesora en la Casa de Oración, International House of Prayer (Casa de Oración Internacional) http://www.IHOP-Miami.com, en el Doral, Miami, Florida, formando parte de su personal. Este estilo de vida disciplinada de oración, 24 horas a la semana de oración intercesora, devoción y estudio Biblico y otras 24 horas de servicio en los diversos frentes eclesiásticos, me ha cautivado por completo! No hay otra cosa que pudiera estar haciendo de más valor y propósito en mi vida ahora mismo que esto - ayudarle a construir Su Casa de Oración aquí en Miami. Sé que Dios tiene una porción diseñada y reservada para mí en éste ministerio sirviéndole en Su Reino.
Sueño con esta Casa. Dios quiere levantar, equipar y lanzar adoradores que le adoren en espíritu y en verdad en nuestra ciudad. Yo quiero ser un instrumento en Sus manos para hacerlo realidad. Con todas mis fuerzas le serviré para lograr dicha meta, entrenando, enseñando y siendo mentora a tales adoradores. Apenas comienza el ministerio en IHOP-Miami aquí en la ciudad del Doral, aunque lleva mas de 10 años de su fundación en Kansas City, Missouri, bajo el liderazgo de Mike Bickle, 24 horas/7 días de la semana en adoración y oración. Tendré la oportunidad de ser precursora en este ministerio específicamente en el área de la música y la adoración. El director de IHOP-Miami, David Futrell, está disponible para cualquier pregunta o inquietud que usted tenga acerca de mi participación en la Casa de Oración, IHOP-Miami.
